Nagubnikov has studied at the Art School in Penza (1902-1907), later at the Academy of Arts in St. Petersburg (1907-1914).
He has participated in exhibitions of the Union of Youth (1910-1914).
Nagubnikov is a forgotten artist now, but in his time he was one of the most important in Russian avant-garde.
