Issue XXIII, December 1st 2010.
Hello to all Russian Avant-garde Gallery visitors and subscribers.
Do you know the saying that life is what happens while you are making plans? Well, this was one of these months for me.
It has brought a couple of head colds, for both me and my son; the horrible weather continues making us all here a bit on edge and causing several unpleasant physical effects - like sandpaper skin, irritated eyes and short tempers; and literally a ton of workload from my own numerous current work venues dropped suddenly on my head, resulting in a huge overload, which left me no time to raise my nose above the desk.
So, for the first time since mid-summer 2008 I have made almost no tangible monthly progress on the Russian Avant-garde Gallery website, and have few new developments to report, for which I beg your pardon.
So I will therefore only wish Happy Hanukkah to my Jewish visitors (coming up in a couple of days) and Happy Holiday season to the Christians and all who celebrate the upcoming December holidays. Have fun, great tasty food and the best of weather.
All who think they can - include a prayer for rain in our region, we are parched and weary with this unending dry wind continuing for over 6 weeks almost incessantly. The earth here needs water, the next year's harvests are in danger and and the people's drinking water reserves are dwindling, too.

New Movement Page Added and Two Existing Ones Updated
I have opened another new movement page in November: the Path of Painting, which has hitherto been a gray "under construction" page:

Buying Books? Get Them Through The Gallery!
I want to remind you to check out the categories for Recommended Books, Films and the one of Specialized Bookshops, where you may find many of the books out there by category, by artist, by movement - and see recommendations about them:
Your buying books, films, posters, calendars through the Gallery will also contribute to supporting of this website, which takes a lot of labour and time to develop and move forward. So do make use of the work invested in bringing the books to you.
If you know of a bookshop that will be interesting for the others - do tell me about it, and I will contact them and make sure it is represented here for everyone's benefit.
