Biography:

Alisa Jakovlevna Brusketti-Mitrokhina has graduated from the Moscow School of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture (1901).

She has worked as a sculptor at the Abramtzevo Ceramic Studio, Moscow, until 1905.

The artist has taught design at the Commercial School in Tver (1905-1909).

Brusketti-Mitrokhina has worked at the ceramic workshop of the Society for the Encouragement of the Arts, St.Petersburg (1909-1914).

She has taught the art of ornament at the Art and Industry School in Pskov (1915-1919).

The artist has created a series of genre statuettes of "city types" in Petrograd for the State Porcelain Factory (1918-1920), and also small figurines of ballerinas and athletes (1930).

Took part in exhibitions from 1908, among those organized by The Brotherhood of Wanderers and The Artist's Commune (1921-1922).
